My primary work is documenting rates of mobile-regolith production with cosmogenic radionuclides(CRNs), and interpreting these data with numerical models of hillslope processes. In addition to hillslope research, I am also continuing work started by Miriam Dühnforth to document the timing of Quaternary terrace deposition and abandonment. I am using optically-stimulated luminescence (OSL) and cosmogenic radionuclides (CRN) to date these surfaces. In conjunction with absolute dating methods, I am also describing soils, performing soil texture analysis, and documenting pedogenic carbonate.
