My research group primarily focuses on the solute and isotope chemistry of surface waters, groundwaters, saline fluids and natural gas to better constrain the sources of solutes, residence times and flowpaths of fluids and gas in the subsurface, and water-rock-microbial interactions. This research involves extensive field sampling, laboratory analyses, and geochemical and hydrologic modeling.
