Research focuses on groundwater-surface water interactions, determining timescales of reactions that occur at this interface as well as groundwater contributions to stream flow using natural tracers. This research is conducted at field sites as well as using labaoratory characterization and modeling. Current field sites are streams and meadows in the Sierra Nevada.
