Erin Stacy joins the Southern Sierra CZO (SSCZO) and Sierra Nevada Research Institute as a research associate for Education, Outreach and Communications. She completed her Master's of Science in December, 2012, at UC Merced. As a grad student, she conducted research with the SSCZO and partner organization Kings River Experimental Watershed (a project of the Forest Service Pacific Southwest Research Station) on the ways erosion that impacts soil organic matter as it is transported out of the catchment basins. She is looking forward to starting work!
