Ryan will embark on a project titled “New Approaches to Address Scaling Issues for Lateral Flow of water in a Layered Snowpack.” Mentors for Ryan include INSTAAR’s Noah Molotch and Mark Williams, as well as LBNL’s Stefan Finsterle. His research will bridge with the Boulder Creek CZO and Niwot Ridge LTER projects.
