I am interested in the interaction between the Earth and life systems, especially in the form of nutrient cycles. I am also interested in climate change and the ways that humans are affecting the planet. My honors thesis explores the impact that long-term erosion rates have on the availability of nutrients in tropical soils in Puerto Rico.
