ARCHIVED CONTENT: In December 2020, the CZO program was succeeded by the Critical Zone Collaborative Network (CZ Net) ×

In the Earth Science Discovery program, students from 3rd to 6th grades learn about the Critical Zone through hands-on activies that are facilitated by undergraduate students from the University of Arizona.

We are actively engaged in K-12 education, public outreach, field courses for students from around the nation and world, and cutting edge graduate training in interdisciplinary critical zone science for graduate students.
