I am the full-time, on-site field technician for the LCZO. I collect water samples and maintain a network of hydrologic sensors across the Luquillo Mts to further the long-term research of LCZO investigators, collaborators, and graduate students. My previous work experience consists of seven years of botanical field surveys specializing in the floras of taiga, short-grass prairie, and long-leaf pine savannah. I also spent three years as a consultant for the oil and gas industry coordinating large-scale environmental and cultural surveys. I am currently interested in soil-vegetation interactions in subtropical ecosystems, particularly wetlands.
