His research has focused on improved use of geophysical methods in subsurface hydrology. In particular, he is interested in developing methods to extract more information from geophysical measurements and to couple process and instrument models to design more effective characterization and monitoring programs. He is also interested in the use of economic models to determine the value of proposed hydrologic monitoring schemes.
