Although the applications are diverse, my research interests broadly follow a common theme: using isotopes to trace physical processes of the earth. My primary research interests fall into several categories - U–series isotopes as tracers of ice dynamics in polar and temperate regions, isotopic tracers of dust and weathering in polar and tropical climates, stable isotopes of oxygen and hydrogen as pseudo-chronometers of ice, and recently we have started working on projects involving boron isotopes and the paleoclimate record.
