The second student-led field trip to the CRB-CZO by the mid-Atlantic student chapter of the Society of Exploration Geophysics, after last year's successful trip.  This year the focus will be on mapping spatial patterns in soil and sediment texture in floodplains, in order to determine the 3D connectivity of sand/gravel lenses with high hydrological conductivity and also to measure the volumes of fine sediment deposits and associated buried organic carbon.
