Multiple Disciplines

The diversity of the Eel River team gives us the strength to deeply pursue many fundamental questions that lie at the interface of many disciplines. Our faculty have expertise in geomicrobiology and biogeochemistry, low temperature geochemistry, microbial ecology, salmonid ecology, food web ecology, geomorphology and hydrology, tree physiology, ecohydrology theory and observation, and climate modeling.

Each of our four research questions and our proposed modeling pulls on an interdisciplinary team. Read more about our research foci.
