Graduate seminar series 2015, Geomorphic weathering

MEETING/CONFERENCE

Graduate seminar on Geomorphic weathering in the Critical Zone, Spring 2015. 1 credit class based upon critical discussion of readings, with guest lectures-Geol-5702

Room 380 in the Benson Building on main campus.

Howdy folks and happy new year to you all.

We are running our geomorphic seminar this semester, as usual. it is a 1 credit class based upon critical discussion of readings, with a few guest lectures sprinkled in for good measure this time around. i attach a preliminary reading list more to advertise the range of topics we'd like to cover than anything else. it is not complete. and there are many on it we will not get to.

As our usual slot of 2-330 on wednesday conflicts with at least a couple classes others are either teaching or taking, I would like to suggest we meet on Tuesday 2-330 instead.  I will later announce where this will be, but it will be somewhere in the Benson (geology) building.  I hope this works for many of you. Please do sign up for credit, as the deans are always threatening to close down class with small enrollment; the class number is Geol-5702.
