I am interested in translating complex themes in environmental science to a broad audience including K-12 students, teachers and the public. My goal while working at the CZO is to develop hands-on science activities for middle and high school classrooms based on the research being done at the SSCZO. My research interests include soil biogeochemistry, wetland science and improving water quality in agricultural settings.
