My current research interests are in headwater stream ecosystems and landscape ecology (understanding the influence of spatial and temporal scales on monitoring, assessments, and spatial uncertainty). I designed and implemented the Kings River Experimental Watersheds in the Sierra Nevada; this is a research effort to better integrate physical, chemical, and biological process research.
