My previous research focuses on vadose zone modeling, in which I developed physically-based infiltration models to simulate water flow in soil profiles. I am currently working on investigations of the snow line in Sierra Nevada with interactions of atmospheric river. I envision my future research to span across the fields of hydrological modeling, vadose zone hydrology, water resources, soil physics, computational methods, big data, and artificial intelligence.
