Richter & Billings publish on Tansley’s ecosystem as Earth’s critical zone
Calhoun CZO PI Dan Richter and investigator Sharon Billings authored a paper in New Phytologist that argues the congruence between Tansley’s (1935) ecosystem concept of ‘one physical system’ with Earth science’s critical zone.
