I am interested in determining the roles that aspect and parent material play on carbon storage along an elevation gradient within the soil profile. I will also investigate the hydrological processes that influence the movement carbon within and out of the system. The data collected will aid in the understanding of the carbon cycle and build biogeochemical connections within the Reynolds Creek CZO.
