To enable our greater understanding across the research themes, we are performing embedded and remote observations coupled with process-oriented modeling. These observations and modeling exercises are performed strategically and adjusted as we progress, to ensure capturing the causalities and feedbacks of system behavior change. This approach necessitates short-term observations and event-based modeling performed in parallel with long-term observations and simulations.
