Abstract

We quantify the influence of hydrologically-induced erosion on soil organic carbon redistribution at the Holcombe’s Branch. We apply tRIBS-ECO, a spatially-explicit model of SOC dynamics built within a coupled process-based hydro-geomorphic model. We focus on the rate of carbon burial in alluvial sediments during the history of agriculture and reforestation of the site.
