How is agricultural land use change and landscape transition driven by the interaction of land tenure regimes and ecological feedbacks? This research will explore how different institutions of land tenure, biophysical variability, and generational changes among households influence the degree of intensive land use and the rate and pattern of household abandonment and reforestation.
