I am interested in developing methods for the use of remotely sensed data measured from airborne and satellite platforms to estimate vegetation phenology and plant productivity. I have developed ground based measurement techniques for LAI and fPAR and validated satellite based vegetation products in a boreal forest. In the future I would love to extend my expertise to different vegetation types, and to apply the most recent research to solve practical problems.
