I am a geologist with research interests spanning modern and ancient terrestrial environments. I am particulary interested in the spatial and temporal aspects of terrestrial environments. I apply geochronology, geochemical tracers, and isotope geochemistry to understand processes and pathways in modern environments and to constrain the evolution and distribution of ancient environments. Naturally, this intersection of geology, geochemistry, and environment draws upon on foundational training in basic mineralogy, and analytical geochemistry.
