I am a stable isotope geochemist and my research interests are paleoclimate/paleovegetation study; and soil carbon/nitrogen storage and its response to prescribed fire by applying stable isotope geochemistry techniques. My previous study partly focuses on the effect of seasonally prescribed fire on the storage and distribution of soil organic and inorganic carbon (carbon sequestration) in a mesquite savanna ecosystem in north-central Texas.
