The annual Owyhee Hydrology Camp (OHC) is organized by the Owyhee Watershed Council and conducted by the NWRC staff. The goal of the OHC is to provide a live watershed learning opportunity to local area high school students, highlighting the importance of hydrologic research. The students participate in snow water equivalence determination, techniques to determine soil moisture, Vegetation measurements, aquatic insect and fish counts, weir operation, suspended sediment analysis, and more.
