Owyhee Hydrology Camp

The 2015 Owyhee Hydrology Camp was held at Reynolds Creek Experimental Watershed (RCEW), and is sponsored by the Owyhee Watershed Council with the assistance of the Agricultural Research Service.  This annual camp is an opportunity for a small group of local high school students to get hands-on experience with watershed science. This year’s topics included measuring snow water, vegetation surveys, aquatic biology, and soil characterization. Students walk away from the experience with a better understanding of watershed processes and their impact on our everyday lives.
