Broader Research Engagement Plan: We envision IML-CZO to be a community resource whose success will depend both on the proposed science, as well as the emergent science that arises from interactions between our researchers and other institutions. Praveen Kumar, Patrick Belmont (Co-PI on the NSF-WSC Minnesota River Basin Project) and Efi Foufoula-Georgiou (NCED Director and PI of the NSF-WSC Minnesota River Basin Project) will lead this engagement effort. This team will bring synergies across existing projects and make significant effort to attract other scientists to the CZO, with support allocated in the budget.
