My overall research objective in the Susquehanna Shale Hills CZO is to better understand the interactive controls of hydrological, geomorphological and ecological hot spots and hot moments on water quality. Specifically, I am interested in a) upscaling predictive understanding from plot to watershed scales and b) better quantifying the role of disturbance on temporal patterns of watershed solute export.
