Shale Hills
PhD in Physical Geography, Watershed Hydrology and Biogeochemistry , University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill , 2014
My overall research objective in the Susquehanna Shale Hills CZO is to better understand the interactive controls of hydrological, geomorphological and ecological hot spots and hot moments on water quality. Specifically, I am interested in a) upscaling predictive understanding from plot to watershed scales and b) better quantifying the role of disturbance on temporal patterns of watershed solute export.
