TeenShale Network students learn “How to Use HydroDesktop” with Shale Hills CZO personnel

The Earth and Environmental Systems Institute hosted Jonathan Pollak, Support Specialist with CUAHSI - Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrologic Science, on the campus of Penn State to facilitate a “hands-on” workshop with HydroDesktop.

Participating in the workshop were State College Area High School students who are current members of the TeenShale Network, and their learning enrichment teacher, Nell Herrmann.  Demonstrations on the functionality of the software program for scientific queries were followed by ‘how-to’ instruction for contributing data.  For more information, please visit the associated link to PennState News.
