Her research will apply sediment-fingerprinting techniques developed at the Christina CZO to test hypotheses within the Susquehanna Shale Hills CZO. Cross site comparisons of watershed materials will enable quantification of watershed suspended load, more fully evaluate the watershed budget for weathering products (e.g. iron and aluminum), and provide data on which sediment transport models can be built.
