Shale Hills
Plant ecology, forest disturbance

Adviser: Jason Kaye

M.S., Ecology, The Pennsylvania State University, In Progress

I am interested in forest understory vegetation and impacts of disturbance. My research focuses on effects of tree tip-ups on plant regeneration. I will be using a chronosequence of tip-ups in the Shale Hills catchment to study vegetation and soil microsite changes (on the pits/ mounds) over the last ~70 years.
