Laura Clemente-Harding and her Army reseach team with Engineer Research and Development Center will visit the CZO to collect LiDAR data within the COSMOS footprint of either Shale Hills or Garner Run using a Leica C10 (tripod mounted) and a Geoslam Zeb Revo (hand-held scanner).  The aim to further develop techniques for stand off remote sensing of soil moisture and vegetation biomass.  Goals of the team are to train any interested students in those techniques.
